Material Handler (2nd Shift)

In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, moving, and managing materials to ensure smooth shipping, receiving, and inventory processes. Duties Load and unload shipments using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with safety protocols. Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately utilizing RF scanners and manual handling techniques to meet shipping deadlines. Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and order pickers to move large or bulky items safely within the warehouse. Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and inventory management procedures. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety guidelines during all warehouse activities. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation. Support warehouse supervisors in maintaining organized storage areas and adhering to warehouse operations standards. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments. Ability to operate forklift trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, crane equipment, and other heavy machinery safely. Familiarity with order picking processes using RF scanners and basic math skills for inventory calculations. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, materials handling, manual handling, and heavy lifting. Knowledge of safety protocols aligned with OSHA regulations; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Previous experience in warehouse supervisor roles or managing warehouse distribution tasks is a plus.
