Material Handler 2nd shift (2pm-10pm)

Primary Objective: Material Handler watches a group of extruders, while monitoring the amount of material in the hoppers and stacking profiles on to the rack and/or basket. Also keep track of shipping tickets as far as the amount that was run on their shift and making sure the right order number is on the ticket and where it is being sent. Key Responsibilities Trim and organize parts. Mix compounds, order compounds and maintain the hoppers. Complete labels for all parts. Maintain extrusion lines with appropriate materials. Assemble boxes and package material. Inspect profiles for defects. Sort and fill grinder with usable scrap. Confirm materials needing to be dried are in the driers at the appropriate time. Assure the lengths of the lineal extrusions. Support operators with the Epicor paperwork. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Utilize forklift; if approved and trained. Assist in other departments as assigned, perform other duties as assigned. Follow all Intek safety procedures and expectations.
