The Role Rune manufactures data centers the way the best hardware companies manufacture products: fast, repeatable, and built to scale. That only works if every part is received correctly, stored where it belongs, and on the line when production needs it. Rune is seeking a Material Handler to support receiving, inventory, warehouse, and production operations at our Mountain View facility. This person will receive, inspect, label, store, and issue materials while keeping inventory records and traceability accurate. We’re Looking For Someone Who Makes ownership of inventory accuracy, not just someone who moves boxes from one place to another, and who understands that clean receiving, correct locations, and accurate ERP transactions are what keep production running. Key Responsibilities Receiving & Inspection Receive incoming materials and verify part numbers, quantities, and documentation against purchase orders and packing slips. Inspect shipments for visible damage, shortages, or incorrect materials, and report discrepancies promptly. Label and identify materials correctly before they are stored or issued to production. Inventory Control & Traceability Use barcode scanners and handheld devices to receive, transfer, issue, and track materials across the warehouse and production floor. Process inventory transactions accurately in the ERP system, including receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and location changes. Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation, and help investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Maintain material identification and traceability from receiving through storage and production. Material Flow & Production Support Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production based on work orders, build schedules, and material requests. Store materials in designated locations following FIFO and proper storage practices. Assist with packing, shipping, and other warehouse activities as needed. Cross-Functional & Safety Coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, and Production to make sure materials are available when needed. Keep the warehouse and receiving areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices. Ideal Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in material handling, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or manufacturing. Experience with barcode scanners and an ERP, inventory, or warehouse management system. Ability to read and verify part numbers, labels, packing slips, purchase orders, and work orders, with strong attention to detail. Familiarity with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and FIFO practices. Forklift and/or pallet jack experience is a plus. Dependable and punctual, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and safely lift and move materials as required. Schedule Expectations Because this role directly supports receiving and production, reliable, on-time attendance is essential. You’ll need to be available at the start of each shift to receive deliveries, process materials, and make sure production has what it needs.
