Material Handler - 1st Shift

Location: Bradford, OH Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 6:30 am – 5:00 PM (four 10-hour shifts) Company: Production Paint Finishers, Inc. About the Role: Production Paint Finishers, Inc. is looking for dependable, hands-on individuals to join our team as 1st Shift Parts Hangers . This is a key production role in our industrial painting process — perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced, physical work and takes pride in doing things right. You’ll work directly on our paint line, preparing parts for coating by hanging, masking, and inspecting them for quality. Attention to detail and teamwork are critical, as your work directly affects the quality of our final products. Key Responsibilities Hang, mask, and prepare metal parts on an overhead line for painting. Inspect each part for damage, rust, or defects before coating. Ensure consistent orientation and spacing of parts for uniform paint coverage. Maintain full hooks and identify grounding or counting issues. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, gloves as required). Keep your area organized and clean throughout the shift. Perform additional duties as directed by your supervisor, including assisting with unhooking parts, sweeping, or preparing materials. What You’ll Bring Strong work ethic and ability to follow detailed instructions. Good communication with team members and supervisors. Dependable attendance and punctuality — this is critical for success. Comfort working in a warm environment and standing for long periods. Physical Requirements Stand, bend, and lift throughout a 10-hour shift. Regularly lift and move parts up to 50–75 lbs. Full range of motion, including overhead reaching. Tolerate heat and physical activity for extended periods.
