Material Handler
Boulder ConnectRole Overview This position involves warehouse and material handling duties, including moving, packaging, and organizing materials. Responsibilities include following verbal instructions, loading/unloading items, recording data in computer systems, and ensuring proper labeling and securing of goods for transit. The role requires operating industrial trucks or hoists, maintaining a clean workspace, and managing storage areas. Key Responsibilities Move materials manually and with equipment, package, and load goods. Record and track material movement and shipping data electronically. Label, tag, and secure items for shipment, ensuring safety during transit. Unpackage parts, perform data entry, and organize storage areas. Adhere to quality, safety, and company procedures, and contribute to process improvements. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED, with at least one year of related experience or training. Ability to read, interpret safety and operating instructions, and complete routine reports. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to operate power tools, lift over 50 pounds, and legally operate a motor vehicle and lift truck. Physical & Working Conditions Requires standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and occasional sitting. Must be able to lift heavy loads, work in loud factory environments, and handle hazardous materials safely. Exposure to outdoor conditions and electrical hazards is possible.
