• Move materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare materials for shipment or production.
• Store materials in designated locations and maintain an organized warehouse.
• Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, and shipping/receiving documentation.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely, where authorized.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records using computer systems or scanners.
• Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect materials and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including proper lifting and material-handling practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with other warehouse and material-handling duties as required.
Qualifications
• Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials safely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and inventory-system skills.
• Forklift certification or experience is a mandatory requirement
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and workplace safety procedures.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to regularly lift and move materials of varying weights.
• Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and safely operate material-handling equipment.
