Material Expeditor

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Expeditor to join our team in North Canton, OH, 44720. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that materials and supplies are delivered on time and in the right quantities to support our operations. Responsibilities Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials and supplies to meet production schedules. Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery. Identify and resolve any material shortages or delays that may impact production. Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Maintain accurate records of material orders, deliveries, and inventory levels. Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management strategies. Provide support in conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in supply chain management or logistics is a plus. Proven experience in material expediting, inventory management, or a related field. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
