Material Coordinator Senior Warehouse Specialist Medical Logistics
StratitiaLocation: Marine Corps Base | Kaneohe, HI Position Overview The Material Coordinator serves as a central point of accountability for material accuracy, documentation, inventory control, quality assurance, and supply chain compliance. This role supports daily warehouse operations and long-term accountability by keeping physical material, inventory records, packing documentation, and customer requirements aligned. The successful candidate will work independently while maintaining consistent communication and coordination with the government customer and the contractor team. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and expedite the flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules and established priorities. Review production schedules, determine required or overdue material, initiate requisitions, locate material, and establish delivery sequences based on job-order priorities and anticipated availability. Schedule material transfers and coordinate repair, assembly, and transportation activities needed to support production. Examine and verify material delivered to production departments, including quantities, part numbers, condition, labels, locations, item descriptions, and supporting documentation. Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready records, including packing lists, inventory documentation, discrepancy records, inventory logs, and supporting material transactions. Verify physical inventory against system records and storage locations; identify and resolve missing, excess, mislabeled, misplaced, or incorrectly documented material. Perform AMAL quality-control reviews and identify errors early to prevent downstream warehouse and production impacts. Investigate discrepancies identified during receiving, sustainment, stow, or production and track each issue through correction, verification, and closure. Monitor open actions, pending orders, critical backlogs, turn-ins, discrepancy reports, storage-consolidation activities, and material due-outs. Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational records and reports, with monthly reporting to Project Manager. Participate in required briefings, contract meetings, operational check-ins, job training, and security training. Operate material-handling equipment to move material safely between warehouse areas and departments. Follow established customer and organizational requirements for receiving, storage, inventory, production, documentation, safety, HAZMAT checks, shelf-life reviews, property audits, and secure storage. Core Workflow Areas Receiving: Verify material, quantity, condition, labels, and packing documentation before material enters inventory. Sustainment: Maintain inventory accuracy, track open discrepancies, and keep documentation current. Stow: Confirm material is placed in the correct location with accurate labels and inventory documentation. Production Support: Investigate discrepancies to determine origin in receiving, storage, inventory, or documentation. Records and Compliance: Maintain accessible records for audits, government customer requests, inventory reviews, and supply chain compliance. Required Qualifications Minimum of five years of Warehouse Specialist experience. Ability to independently organize work, maintain accurate records, communicate material status, and coordinate issue resolution with warehouse personnel, leadership, quality personnel, the government customer, and contractor teammates. Ability to use manual and computerized inventory, production, and material-tracking systems. Ability to complete a physical examination and obtain authorization to operate a forklift with up to 6,000-pound capacity. Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
