Responsibilities
• Develop and uphold the master production schedule for aerospace casting and machining operations.
• Translate customer demand and forecasts into precise production plans and capacity loads.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, engineering, and quality departments to ensure material and resource availability.
• Monitor adherence to schedules, making adjustments for constraints while resolving any conflicts or bottlenecks.
• Analyze data from ERP/MRP systems to enhance lead times, inventory accuracy, and delivery performance.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on schedule, capacity, and performance metrics to leadership.
• Support the integration of new products and engineering changes into the production schedule.
• Identify potential risks to customer delivery timelines and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Promote standard practices, documentation, and best practices for planning and scheduling activities.
