Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to lead production planning and scheduling within our manufacturing operations. This pivotal role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing comprehensive production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while aligning with capacity constraints, inventory levels, and customer demands. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced production management systems, such as SAP and ERP platforms, to coordinate cross-functional activities, enhance process efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to drive operational excellence and contribute significantly to our supply chain management and manufacturing success. Responsibilities Develop detailed production schedules that align with sales forecasts, inventory targets, and capacity constraints using SAP, ERP systems, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools. Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure seamless execution of production plans. Monitor production progress daily, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and adjust schedules proactively to meet delivery deadlines. Analyze production data through Excel data analysis techniques to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement. Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize scheduling processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce waste. Maintain accurate records of production schedules, changes, and related documentation in manufacturing management systems. Support plant management by providing timely updates on production status and capacity utilization. Utilize supply chain analytics to forecast demand accurately and adjust schedules accordingly. Ensure compliance with quality control standards while maintaining efficient operations across the manufacturing plant. Skills Proven experience in production management, manufacturing management, or operations management within a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, MRP software, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Expertise in production planning, scheduling techniques, lean manufacturing principles, and process improvement strategies. Knowledge of supply chain management concepts including logistics coordination and inventory control. Familiarity with quality control standards and lean management practices such as Six Sigma. Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for decision-making. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
