Master Scheduler

Principle Activities: · Experience in order entry, customer relations, MAPIC, EDI, MRP, and advanced computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel). · Full working knowledge of BOM’s and ECR documentation. · Excellent verbal and written communication as well as organizational and problem solving skills. · Develop production plan to satisfy customer demand, based on monthly master schedule. · Ensure material availability to meet production needs, while meeting customer demand. · Maintain finished goods inventory at target levels to ensure high service levels (product availability). · Manage inventory levels to achieve Customer Demand and achieve targeted inventory levels set by management. · Maintain a strong collaboration with Customer Service / Production / Sales / Business Unit Managers, to stay abreast of any and all material/production/ customer demand critical issues that may arise. Educational Requirements: · BA/BS Degree, or 2 to 5 years Material Planning experience · Preferred areas (Supply chain management) (APICS Certification, a plus) NOTE: The above summary is not all inclusive.
