Masonry Superintendent

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Masonry Superintendent to lead and oversee all aspects of masonry construction projects. This role is essential in ensuring that masonry work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction management experience, and a thorough understanding of technical drawings, safety regulations, and project scheduling. As a key figure on the construction site, you will coordinate teams, manage schedules, review blueprints, and ensure compliance with all safety and construction regulations. Your expertise will drive project success from start to finish, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes quality workmanship and safety excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise masonry crews on multiple construction sites, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget Review and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and blueprints to guide project execution Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to optimize workflow Manage procurement processes, including contracts, subcontractor coordination, and material deliveries Enforce OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all team members Conduct quality control inspections to ensure masonry work meets project specifications and industry standards Oversee daily site operations, including safety meetings, progress tracking, and resolving on-site issues promptly Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to review progress reports and adjust plans as needed Supervise team performance through effective crew management, training, and mentorship to foster a productive work environment Maintain accurate documentation of project activities using construction management software such as ProCore or Prolog Skills Extensive experience in heavy civil or commercial masonry construction projects with proven supervisory roles Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and OSHAsafety standards Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints accurately Skilled in project scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, and managing project timelines effectively Excellent communication skills for managing teams in a construction management role and coordinating with stakeholders Deep understanding of federal construction safety regulations and OSHA compliance requirements Demonstrated ability to supervise crews effectively while maintaining high safety standards and quality control measures Experience managing contracts, reviewing construction drawings for accuracy, and overseeing subcontractor performance Familiarity with pipeline projects or other specialized heavy civil infrastructure is a plus Competence in using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when required on-site Join us as a Masonry Superintendent if you’re ready to lead dynamic teams on impactful projects that shape communities.
