Masonry Contractor – Independent Subcontractor

Location: Greater Sudbury, Ontario Job Type: Independent Contractor / Subcontractor Compensation: Negotiable based on experience, scope of work, and project requirements About the Opportunity We are expanding our skilled contractor network and seeking masonry professionals for projects in Greater Sudbury and surrounding communities. We welcome small masonry companies, independent tradespeople, experienced contractors, and qualified newcomers to the industry. Responsibilities Perform masonry repairs, bricklaying, blockwork, stonework, and related tasks as required by each project. Assess work areas and identify materials and equipment needed. Prepare surfaces, mix mortar, and install masonry materials appropriately. Complete repairs and installations according to project specifications. Follow applicable building codes, safety procedures, and quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe worksite and communicate progress or delays. Qualifications Previous masonry experience, apprenticeship training, or relevant vocational education. Knowledge of masonry tools, materials, and installation techniques. Ability to work independently and deliver quality workmanship. Reliable transportation, appropriate tools, and availability in the Sudbury area. Applicable insurance, certifications, and safety training as required for the work. Small businesses and sole proprietors are encouraged to apply.
