MARKETING OPERATIONS MANAGER | Full-time, permanent

Works onsite in Calgary, AB

Work schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Mandatory in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday

Remote optional days are on Wednesday and Thursday

About the Role

As our Marketing Operations Manager, you'll own the systems, workflows, and infrastructure that power Tiller’s agency marketing. You’re someone who turns strategy into consistent execution, bringing strong operational judgment, high standards, and attention to detail.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you’ll help us hit ambitious growth targets by managing marketing projects, building and executing campaigns, keeping data clean, and continuously improving marketing processes. This is an individual contributor role: you’ll both run the system and execute campaigns, programs, and projects end-to-end. This role does not include owning overall marketing strategy or managing direct reports.

What you get to do

  • Marketing operations

  • Own and continuously improve the marketing tech stack, including optimizing usage of existing tools and proposing and implementing new tools (including AI tools).

  • Manage HubSpot CRM setup and ongoing optimization, including lead routing, lifecycle stages, custom properties, automations, and data hygiene, ensuring our pipeline data is clean, reliable, and decision-ready.

  • Build and execute ABM workflows, contact lists, and outbound campaigns informed by account research through Clay or other ABM and AI tools.

  • Project management

  • Own project management for Marketing; clearly scope and plan projects, build timelines, and secure stakeholder alignment on plans.

  • Coordinate across Marketing, Sales, and Delivery teams to ensure smooth, on-time execution and efficient output of high quality deliverables.

  • Build and maintain SOPs for recurring marketing activities.

  • Use tools (including AI tools and our project management system, Motion) to stay organized, informed, and proactive.

  • Campaign execution

  • Support campaign execution and logistics for brand campaigns, lead gen programs, incentive offers, and community engagement programs.

  • Build, segment, QA, and schedule email campaigns end-to-end.

  • Manage web content publishing of blog articles, press features, and other marketing content.

  • Reporting & insights

  • Produce campaign and channel performance reports that surface what's working and what needs to shift.

  • Collaborate with SEO, Paid Media, and CRO to ensure marketing reporting is accurate and consistent.

  • Identify patterns and opportunities to help the team continuously improve.

You may be a fit for this role if you have

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, campaign management, or a related role; agency or B2B SaaS experience is a strong asset.

  • Strong project management skills and a track record of keeping complex, multi-stream work on time.

  • Hands-on HubSpot experience across workflows, lists, forms, properties, and reporting.

  • Proficiency with Motion, Clickup, Asana, or other project management software.

  • Experience with ABM programs and tools; familiarity with Clay is a plus.

  • Experience building and executing email campaigns, including segmentation, QA, and performance analysis.

  • Experience with Wordpress or a similar web content management tool.

  • Comfort using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, NotebookLM) to improve thinking, efficiency, and output quality. You know how to prompt effectively, assess output, and use AI as a tool, not a crutch.

  • A data-first mindset; you use numbers to make decisions, not just document them.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and disciplines; you enjoy working closely with creative and cross-functional teams.

  • A Bachelor of Business Administration / Bachelor of Commerce or related degree is an asset, but not required

Success looks like

  • You enable Marketing and Sales to hit ambitious growth targets with optimized tools, data, and recommendations that support decision-making and set people and campaigns up for success.

  • You consistently ship a high volume of deliverables and campaigns on time with flawless execution.

  • You collaborate effectively with Marketing, Sales, and Delivery; ensuring teams are aligned and productive through proactive communication and effective project planning.

  • You innovate and continuously improve how we run Marketing; spotting bottlenecks, testing smarter workflows and automations, and introducing process upgrades that help us deliver higher quality work, faster.
