The Marketing Operations Manager leads the execution and consistency of Goodwill Central Texas's marketing strategy across 40+ retail locations while managing the daily operations of the Marketing Communications Team. This role serves as the connective tissue between marketing strategy, project management, instore retail operations, and cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring that paid campaigns are reflected with in-store signage merchandising, and communications are delivered on time, on brand, and with measurable impact throughout Central Texas.
Role and Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Senior Director of Marketing, implement multifaceted marketing and advertising plan aligned with organizational goals: donated goods retail (sales and goods donations), education and mission recruitment, and Organizational Development.
- Provide oversight and collaborate on the overall direction for all Marketing Communications projects timelines: events, grand openings, special projects, and any other support needs.
- Manage vendor relationships and the production process for printed marketing materials.
- Oversee website maturation for Goodwill Central Texas, GCTA and EXCEL, in partnership with 3rd party developer support.
- Perform copyediting for brand consistency across blogs, direct mail, email, newsletters, website content, and in-store materials, within compositional needs of original content.
- Coordinate and support scalable grand opening retail marketing operations across Central Texas retail locations, including on-site setup, merchandising, and marketing execution.
- Manage large, in-house printer; retail ticket printing requests through Fresh Service, printer supplies needed, vendor meeting schedule
- Act as a key liaison between Marketing, Retail Operations to ensure clear communication, alignment, and execution of priorities.
- Travel to retail locations across the Central Texas region to support in-store execution, audits, and operational needs.
- Consistently exhibits fidelity to organizational values and culture.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has supervisory responsibilities over the Content Producer & Web Developer.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications and, at least, 5 years of marketing experience.
- Proven experience in effectively creating and executing multifaceted marketing events and merchandising.
- Two years of marketing project management experience.
- Experience and knowledge of print production.
- Experience with customer success ticketing system.
- Experience advancing diversity of thought both within teams and organizations.
- Proven copywriting and editing acumen.
- Excellent verbal communication skills; comfort with public speaking.
- Experience with a variety of communication channels, including multimedia.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Bilingual skill is a plus

- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
