Marketing Events & Operations Specialist (part-time)
Embarcadero Media Foundation, the Peninsula’s leading independent nonprofit media organization, seeks a skilled Marketing Events and Operations Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on planning, executing, and managing various live and virtual events and ensuring the smooth operational flow of marketing processes to support our publications in the Peninsula and East Bay.
The Marketing Events & Operations Specialist will hold ownership of several marketing events and promotions. The right candidate leverages their experience to develop and implement improved audience growth and engagement strategies through our marketing and editorial events, to increase newsletter subscribers and connect with communities. Additionally, this role will streamline marketing operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Collaboration and outreach will be essential in supporting our mission by building strong relationships between internal teams and community groups.
This hybrid, part-time, non-benefited position reports to the Director of Marketing and Audience Development and is based in Palo Alto. Some night and weekend event attendance is required.
