New business development is the critical focus of this role — you will proactively identify, pursue, and win new customers and market opportunities across your territory. You will pair that business development drive with deep product knowledge on all assigned brands, active field engagement, and strategic collaboration to strengthen relationships, support successful installations, and grow market presence. Duties and Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): Drive new business development as the top priority of this role — proactively prospect, identify, and secure new contractors, installers, developers, remodelers, and architects accounts within your assigned geography. Be a product expert and solutions provider utilizing all assigned brands to win new business and support existing accounts. Travel within geography, making calls on contractors, installers, developers, remodelers, and architects, with an emphasis on prospecting and opening new accounts. Educate and train customers on product features and installation best practices to build trust and win new business. Identify new opportunities and nurture long-term partnerships with key customers, converting prospects into loyal, long lasting accounts. Maintain accurate records and utilize CRM tools to track new business development activity, pipeline, and strategy. Participate in trade shows, sales meetings, customer-facing events and all other events as assigned, using each as an opportunity to generate new business leads. Stay informed on industry trends, building codes, and competitive offerings to provide relevant insights on all assigned brands. Enhance the value of each sales call by leveraging your expertise in our product offerings and comprehensive knowledge of the competition. Conduct job site visits, seminars, dealer, and contractor events to support product adoption, elevate brand(s) presence, and generate new business referrals.
