Marion County Meals Delivery Driver

Job Purpose: Delivering meals and other assigned items to clients in the Marion County area using personal or company vehicle. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for delivering ordered meals and other assigned items to clients in Marion County using personal or company vehicle. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals to clients, adhering to scheduled routes and delivery times. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients and colleagues. Conduct routine checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while driving and handling meals. Assist clients with meal-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service. Maintain accurate delivery records and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor. Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve service efficiency. Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Experience: Knowledge of Marion County streets, roads, highways, and ability to navigate using a map Preferred Experience: Experience working with older adults and handicapped individuals Required Skills and Abilities: Must be 18 years old Own a reliable vehicle Valid Ohio Driver’s License Acceptable driving record Adequate vehicle insurance Ability to lift 45 pounds Ability to read, write, and navigate using a map or GPS
