Marine Parts Clerk

Job Summary We are a premier boat sales and service dealership looking for an organized, customer-focused Marine Parts Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our parts department. You will support our certified marine technicians with the right components to get boats back on the water, while also assisting retail customers looking to upgrade or repair their vessels. Key Responsibilities Technician Support: Pull and issue parts for internal service repair orders efficiently to minimize technician downtime. Customer Service: Greet showroom customers, answer phone inquiries, look up parts diagrams, and provide accurate pricing and availability. Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments from manufacturers (e.g., Yamaha, Suzuki, Land N’ Sea etc.) into our dealership management software. Showroom Merchandising: Keep the parts counter, retail displays, and stockroom clean, organized, and properly tagged. Order Tracking: Place special orders for non-stock items, track shipments, and promptly notify customers or technicians upon arrival. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 1–2 years of experience in parts counter sales or inventory management (marine, automotive, powersports, or RV industries highly preferred). Technical Aptitude: Ability to read and interpret electronic parts catalogs and schematic drawings. Computer Skills: Proficient with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory software, and basic MS Office. Physical Ability: Comfortable standing for long periods and safely lifting boat batteries, anchors, or boxes up to 50 lbs. License: Valid driver’s license required.
