Job Title: Manufacturing/Warehouse General Laborer Shift(s): Days: Mon-Fri: 7:00am-3:30pm Evenings: Mon-Fri: 3:30pm-12:00am * Night: Sunday 9pm-7:30am Mon-Thurs: 11:30pm-7:30am * *Shift premium available CARDSTON Enterprises is a Canadian manufacturer of card and board games, trading, and collectible card games. A niche business which calls on the Publishing, Gaming and Entertainment, Licensing markets. General Role: Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, your general role is to support activities in the production floor and efficiently handle raw materials and finished product. Tasks range from making boxes, packaging final product, loading and unloading from automated machinery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Independently operate at least one production machine Perform standard setups and adjustments Conduct quality inspections Complete production records accurately Identify and report equipment issues Maintain production efficiency targets Load, unload, move, and organize raw materials and finished goods Follow production schedules, work instructions, and standard operating procedures Inspect products for quality and report defects or concerns Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and production areas Requirements and Qualifications 2 years experience in a manufacturing/production environment Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks; lifting, standing, carrying, repetitive movements Ability to lift to 40 pounds Understanding of and willingness to abide by all safety protocol Able to climb stairs and move around equipment Ability to work independently and in a team environment Job Types: Permanent, Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Paid time off Application question(s): What shift do you prefer?
