Description Sauber Manufacturing Co. specializes in the engineering and manufacturing of innovative utility trailers, truck bodies and equipment, and many other utility products. The Fulfillment Technician is responsible for a variety of shipping and receiving duties related to parts, materials, trailers, and truck platforms. Technicians operate forklifts and skid steers to move equipment inside the facilities, outside between buildings, placing sub-assemblies onto larger units/chassis, and loading equipment onto trailers and semis for delivery. Technicians package and stage materials and parts for third-party shipping, and they receive and put away purchased material. Technicians also drill and assemble crane and outrigger pads, and check inventory levels. Job Duties Forklift and Skid Steer Responsibilities Operate sitting and standing forklifts, and skid steer Promptly prioritize and attend to in-house call for moving material, such as steel, skids, weld kits, assembly kits, trailer frames, completed units, etc. Responsibly move this material to ensure the safety of oneself and pedestrians and maintain the integrity of the material without damage. Load and unload material off of trailers and semis. Maintaining the facility grounds (raw material, Weld skids, tires, axles, wood, work in progress, etc.), and keeping a high level of organization. Maintain the organization and safe storage within the warehouse, as well as moving product as needed to maximize efficient layout Push, pull and fork full production units around the facility as needed. Outrigger and Crane Pad Responsibilities Drill & assemble pads per instruction and training. Receive product from foundries within the business system to process POs with precision. Review the business system to prioritize pad groupings and shipments. Complete assembly order units for stock and/or for shipment, and post completed items in the business system Shipping/Receiving Responsibilities Receive product and freight shipments within the business system. Ensuring accuracy of orders that we ship or receive is a very important part of this position. Familiarize themselves with our parts and products to efficiently pick, put away, and organize product. Administer and process a daily pick list of items for shipment UPS/FedEx shipping throughout the day and ensuring accuracy of data in UPS’ WorldShip system. Load out products (trailers, platforms, etc.) on flatbeds and hotshots using a handful of techniques (Bobcat, dual forklift, overhead crane). Other Complete safety and instructional training as assigned and on time. Follow safety procedures and requirements, such as wearing safety shoes and safety glasses in all production areas.
