Role Overview The Manufacturing Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing incoming Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) requests, as well as Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) manufacturing requests designed by Business Units at Sysgration Headquarters. This role serves as the central operational hub for processing technical data and acts as the primary liaison between local SAC team members, HQ BUs, and cross-functional departments. The Project Manager will lead the preparation of quotation requests, track project milestones, and ensure seamless communication across supply chain, engineering, and logistics teams to support new and ongoing manufacturing projects. Key Responsibilities Quotation & Cost Management · Prepare and respond comprehensively to external EMS quotation requests and internal HQ-designed ODM manufacturing requirements based on provided technical data. · Coordinate directly with Supply Chain Management (SCM) to track and obtain accurate material quotations. · Collaborate with Industrial Engineering to calculate and verify labor and manufacturing costs for prospective projects. · Collect, organize, and analyze all necessary technical and financial data to build competitive proposals and internal manufacturing plans. Project Tracking & Logistics · Track equipment shipping schedules and ensure critical project milestones are met on time for both EMS and ODM product lines. · Collaborate with the logistics team to verify material import/export details, ensuring compliance and timely delivery. · Document meeting minutes accurately and distribute actionable tasks to the appropriate team members. Cross-Functional Coordination · Work effectively with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and smooth transitions from design to manufacturing. · Facilitate daily or weekly communication between the local team and HQ BUs to resolve technical inquiries, cost discrepancies, or scheduling conflicts. · Accommodate meetings and working sessions with HQ teams during non-standard business hours due to time zone differences. · Provide continuous updates to leadership regarding project statuses, quotation pipelines, and potential bottlenecks. Qualifications Experience: 3+ years of experience in project management, Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), Original Design Manufacturing (ODM), or related operations. Experience working with Surface Mount Technology (SMT), through-hole, and related electronics manufacturing processes is highly preferred. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), with preferred experience in PLM-SAP-MES digital integration workflows. Strong understanding of SMT and PCBA manufacturing processes. Familiarity with supply chain processes, bill of materials (BOM) analysis, and manufacturing cost calculations. Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials, engineering drawings, and test specifications. Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for tracking multiple ongoing projects concurrently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering data analysis tools. Other: Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is required to effectively communicate with HQ BUs and overseas supply chain partners. Must be flexible with working schedule to include a schedule outside of standard US business hours to include Sysgration HQ's operating schedule (Taiwan time).
