Manufacturing Production Coordinator
South Atlantic PackagingWe are looking for an experienced and dedicated Production Coordinator/Planner to join our organization. In this position, you will be responsible developing production schedules and managing resources to ensure production runs effectively and customer needs are satisfied. South Atlantic Packaging (SAP) leads the way for companies who need a flexible, knowledgeable, quality certified partner in contract packaging. This role is a central link between sales, operations and the customer. This role performs various coordinating tasks, like scheduling and managing project resources, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation, compiling reports and interacting with customer representatives. Environment: Fast Paced; Variety of Products and Processes This position does not offer relocation nor sponsorship assistance. As a Production Planner/Coordinator, you will: Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and capacity constraints Coordinate with Sales and Operations to prioritize orders and respond to changing customer requirements Ensure materials, components, and packaging supplies are available to support the production plan Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, material constraints, and other issues Provide status reports to customers, internal reports and respond to other inquiries. Collects project information from various sources, coherently organizes this information and updates project documentation/records as needed. Collaborate with team members on special projects as needed. Required Qualifications Associate degree in business, project management/coordination, production/manufacturing management or related field OR two-years equivalent experience.
