Manufacturing operator-ceramic materials

Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor process equipment to ensure efficient and safe production - Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to maintain product quality - Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning - Troubleshoot process issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs - Monitor and control process variables such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates - Collect samples for laboratory analysis and record data accurately - Handle materials and products according to safety guidelines - Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain a clean and organized work area - Complete critical documentation for traceability and material history Experience: - Previous experience operating forklifts and handling materials in a warehouse setting is beneficial - Previous experience in manufacturing operations running various equipment and materials is beneficial - Knowledge of batching, kiln/furnace/ovens, screening, and pressing processes with lean manufacturing principles is beneficial - Ability to read and execute per written specifications and procedures are required - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Ability to fabricate, assemble, or package products according to specifications - Capability to calculate basic math functions for mixing/batching/blending operations verification Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. - Shift work requires daily attendance (mandatory) and prompt arrival each day - Shift required is 6:25AM-3:30PM which is an 8 hour work day and 30-minute unpaid lunch Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $19.60 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location: In person
