We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Manufacturing Master SchedulerPlanner to lead production planning and scheduling activities across our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining the master production schedule, balancing customer demand with production capacity, managing inventory levels, and ensuring on-time delivery performance. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Production PlanningScheduling Develop, maintain, and execute the Master Production Schedule to meet customer demand and business objectives. Balance production capacity, labor availability, material constraints, and customer priorities. Developimplement plan to level load the factory by work cell to utilize available capacity. Create and monitor detailed production schedules for manufacturing operations. Coordinate schedule adjustments to address changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, equipment downtime, or staffing constraints. Monitor schedule adherence and implement corrective actions when necessary. DemandInventory Management Review forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels to develop accurate production plans. Analyze demand trends and recommend inventory strategies to optimize service levels. Collaborate with Procurement to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure alignment on production priorities. Communicate production schedules, risks, and recovery plans to key stakeholders. Participate in SalesOperations Planning (S&OP) and capacity planning activities. Performance MonitoringContinuous Improvement Track and report key planning metrics, including: Schedule attainment On-time delivery Capacity utilization Forecast accuracy Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce lead times. Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Participate in ERP system enhancements and data accuracy initiatives. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of manufacturing planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience. Experience developing and managing master production schedules in a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent). Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles. Experience in high-mix, low-volume and/or repetitive manufacturing environments. Knowledge of capacity planning, inventory optimization, and forecasting methodologies. Experience with SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems. Full Time, Day Shift, $75,000-$90,000 based on experience.
