From dock to stock to line-side and out the door, you will design dependable flows, lead a safety-first team, and drive continuous improvement at ConMet’s Chillicothe, OH manufacturing facility. What success looks like In your first months, you’ll stabilize inventory accuracy with tight cycle-count routines and FIFO, tune carrier performance and packaging to reduce cost, and sync receiving, material handling, and shipping to production schedules. You’ll mentor your team, strengthen EHS practices, and partner across Production and Purchasing to prevent shortages before they happen. Core responsibilities Lead daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, and material handling to support production and customer delivery. Manage inventory accuracy via cycle counts, organization, FIFO, and robust controls. Coordinate transportation, freight, packaging, and shipping; identify savings and efficiency wins. Hire, coach, and develop a safe, high-performing team. Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and peers to ensure material availability to plan. Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and operations. Ensure compliance with company policies, EHS standards, and customer requirements while maintaining a safe environment. Qualifications Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred. Minimum 3 years in materials/warehouse/logistics within manufacturing. Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred. Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and ERP; SAP preferred. Analytical, organized, and strong problem solver. Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel. Comfort leading teams in a fast-paced plant environment.
