Act as the value stream’s primary contact for customer delivery and quality issues. Align purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, and logistics to achieve area objectives. Lead area meetings; champion continuous improvement tied to NN, Inc.’s Operating System. Coach, communicate, and mentor to cultivate engagement and implement employee ideas. Maintain a safe, healthy workplace compliant with OSHA and company standards. Track and manage KPIs: headcount, labor costs, and on‑time delivery. Leverage manufacturing systems data for cost visibility, analysis, and decision‑making. Provide timely feedback and conduct performance reviews. Lead and support project start‑ups within the value stream. Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS). Leadership & accountability Manage, train, direct, and evaluate the assigned production area while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws, including OSHA regulations. What you’ll bring Preferred BA/BS in Engineering, Business, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain management. Microsoft Office proficiency. Strong English communication; ability to interpret technical documents and present to diverse audiences; effective collaboration with customers and internal teams. Applied mathematics skills including statistics, cost analysis, and data interpretation; fluent with production data and graphs. Demonstrated problem‑solving using data to define issues, identify defects, and implement practical solutions. Ability to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 30 pounds; visual acuity for near/far work, color differentiation, and depth perception. Vision correction allowed per safety guidelines. Where you’ll work Split between office and manufacturing settings; noise ranges from quiet to loud with exposure to standard manufacturing elements, including oil and machinery.
