Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer with specialized expertise in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will lead the development, validation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Your technical proficiency in process engineering, automation, and CAD software will drive seamless integration of new products into our manufacturing facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence manufacturing excellence through cross-functional collaboration, rigorous problem-solving, and process optimization. Responsibilities Lead the PPAP process for new product launches, ensuring all documentation, validation, and approval steps are meticulously completed in accordance with industry standards. Collaborate closely with design engineers, quality teams, production staff, and suppliers to develop robust manufacturing processes that meet quality and efficiency goals. Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks to create detailed schematics, tooling designs, and process layouts that support manufacturing activities. Develop and manage project schedules for process improvements and new product introductions using project management methodologies. Apply Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma tools to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance overall process performance. Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality enhancement, process reliability, and operational efficiency. Conduct engineering data analysis to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing are highly preferred. Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role within a factory environment with assembly line exposure. General knowledge of manufacturing processes including welding techniques, robotics programming, industrial automation systems, and fabrication methods. Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks for designing schematics and tooling layouts; experience with CAD data analysis is a plus. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering cross-functional collaboration toward shared goals of quality improvement and process excellence. Knowledge of Lean management principles and Six Sigma manufacturing methodologies to drive continuous improvement projects successfully.
