Firehawk is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, whose primary responsibilities would include leading the production team and manufacturing operations. Which includes developing and ensuring compliance to the quality control program and processes for the company. You will be directly engaged with all disciplines to ensure their contributions support the overall company quality program. Responsibilities As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will serve as a point of contact to the other functions. Frequent communication and collaboration with other disciplines including R&D, Design Engineering, Production Operations, Quality Engineering, and Supply Chain, are required. Your responsibilities will include: Lead and manage manufacturing engineering and tooling teams Designing and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures used in manufacturing. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality. Oversee tooling design, development, and maintenance. Support new product launches through manufacturing readiness and process validation. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve production challenges. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards. Develop and mature capacity models to ensure targets are reached and that risks are identified and mitigated Improving manufacturing by developing new methods to make manufacturing more costeffective and efficient. Planning factory layouts to optimize production. Calculating production, labor, and material costs and estimating future needs. Review quality standards and checks for problems. Creation and continuous improvements of standards, best practices, and gate reviews within the Manufacturing and Tooling Engineering organization Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling design, and lean principles. Proven track record of leading technical teams and driving continuous improvement. Excellent communication, problemsolving, and organizational skills. Demonstrated drive to deliver on tight schedules, especially when unconventional & creative solutions are necessary Ability to interpret engineering drawings, product / performance specifications and other systems integration technical data MBOM structure & creation experience Experience with Manufacturing / Assembly / Production processes Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) Selfmotivated, performs work with the general direction Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Engineering or MBA 10+ years of experience in aerospace or related field Experience Generating or leading capacity model development organizations History of customer engagement as either an SME, Manager, or IPT role High rate production experience ITAR Requirements: To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
