Manufacturing and Logistics Technician

Position Overview TUMI Genomics is seeking a dependable, detail oriented Manufacturing and Logistics Technician to join our growing team. In this role, your primary focus will be manufacturing our products in a sterile environment, including assembling, capping, and stickering kits. You will also support our shipping operations by packaging and preparing orders for delivery to our customers. No prior experience is required. We will teach you everything from scratch, and you will gain hands on experience with sterile practices and the daily workflows of a growing company. Schedule Part time, three quarter time position to start Work hours fall between 9 AM and 5 PM Physical Requirements (Very Important) This is a hands on production role. To be successful, you must be able to: Stand for long periods of time throughout your shift Perform repetitive hand movements for extended periods, such as capping and stickering Maintain speed, accuracy, and focus during repetitive tasks Work Authorization Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Responsibilities Assemble, cap, and sticker kits according to company procedures Work in a sterile environment and follow strict techniques to prevent contamination Follow detailed, step by step instructions to keep product quality consistent Accurately document raw materials, components, and inventory Prepare and package kits for shipment Coordinate outgoing orders, making sure they are accurate and delivered on time Follow shipping regulations, including proper handling of materials when required Maintain shipping and inventory records for audits and reporting Flex between production and shipping tasks as daily priorities change Preferred Skills Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or a lab setting is helpful but not required Experience working in clean or sterile environments is a plus Experience as a shipping coordinator or in a similar role is a plus but not required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proven ability to complete repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately Ability to follow written procedures and document work carefully Willingness to learn shipping software and databases Clear communication and problem solving skills Self motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team How to Apply A resume and cover letter are required Why Join Us Paid on the job training with no experience required Hands on exposure to sterile manufacturing practices An opportunity to grow with an expanding biotechnology company Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
