Manual Transmission Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced and reliable Manual Transmission Dump Truck Driver to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, sand, and construction debris to and from job sites. The ideal candidate must be comfortable operating manual transmission vehicles and committed to safety and efficiency. Duties Operate manual transmission dump trucks safely and efficiently across various construction sites, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Transport construction materials to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the dump truck to ensure mechanical integrity, including checking fluid levels, brakes, lights, tires, and other critical components. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues. Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies. Communicate with dispatch and job site supervisors Follow all safety guidelines related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols to prevent accidents or injuries. Skills Valid CDL ( class A or B ) with clean driving record. 2 years of dump truck experience. Experience driving manual transmission trucks Knowledge of local routes and construction sites preferred Familiarity with construction site procedures and safety standards to ensure compliance at all times. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site managers. Knowledge of transportation regulations related to heavy vehicle operation and load securement. Strong work ethic and punctuality. OSHA certification ( a plus) Pay: From $35.00 per hour Work Location: In person
