This position is for an Experienced Manager, Supply Chain Management , overseeing supplier performance for a Tier 1 supplier within the Interiors business. The function of this position is to direct and manage the activities between Collins Aerospace and the major Tier 1 supplier during the life cycle of a product/program. The primary focus of this position is to obtain optimum product/services in terms of delivery, cost and quality. This role will be onsite in Phoenix, AZ. What You Will Do : Manages the overall relationship with strategic Tier 1 account across multiple business units. Ensures supplier is performing to delivery, quality, and cost requirements. Identifies and implement operational solutions that achieve business objectives and remove barriers to delivery. Improves supplier performance. Leads root cause investigations and corrective actions to ensure sustainable solutions. Partners with internal clients/stakeholders to improve and implement supply chain strategies driving predictable performance and risk mitigation. Manages projects to support strategic and continuous improvement initiatives. Makes supplier visits as required to conduct program reviews and audits to ensure supplier is managing the program to meet program requirements and schedules. Tracks portfolio obsolescence status and works with internal stakeholders to identify and qualify alternate sources. Travels approximately 25%. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience Qualifications We Prefer: Advanced degree. Excellent communication skills – credibility, influencing, presentation. Strong organizational skills.
