Supply Chain Manager Position Summary: Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of the supply chain function at RTI Claro. The position oversees the end-to-end flow of materials, information, and finished parts to ensure that customer requirements are met on time, in full, and in accordance with quality and commercial requirements. The Supply Chain Manager leads the activities related to production planning, material planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, shipping, and customer service, ensuring strong coordination between the company and its customers and suppliers. The role is also responsible for the Customer Service function, ensuring timely and effective support to customers following delivery, including order follow-up, delivery inquiries, customer requests, complaints, and coordination with internal departments to resolve issues. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, and inventory control, specifically within aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-of-the-end supply chain from customer demand through production and delivery. Ensure alignment between customer requirements, production capacity, material availability, suppliers, inventory, and logistics. Monitor key KPIs, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), inventory, shortages, supplier performance, past-due orders, and customer service. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks that could impact production or customer delivery. Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve supply chain performance and reliability. Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand and delivery commitments. Coordinate with Operations to balance capacity, materials, priorities, and customer requirements. Proactively identify delivery risks and implement recovery plans. Ensure suppliers clearly understand RTI Claro's requirements and commit to agreed delivery schedules . Monitor supplier performance and proactively address delivery, capacity, quality, and material availability issues. Lead supplier recovery and improvement actions when commitments are at risk. Manage inventory levels to ensure material availability while optimizing working capital. Monitor shortages, excess and obsolete inventory, and identify opportunities to improve inventory performance. Oversee logistics and shipping to ensure products are delivered on time and according to customer requirements. Monitor past-due orders and coordinate recovery actions when delivery commitments are at risk. Proactively communicate significant delivery risks to internal and external stakeholders. Lead the Customer Service team and ensure timely and effective support to customers. Act as an escalation point for customer delivery issues, inquiries, complaints, and post-delivery needs. Ensure customer requirements and concerns are effectively communicated and addressed across the organization. Build strong customer relationships and continuously improve customer experience. Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs and communicate performance to leadership. Lead initiatives to improve OTD, inventory, lead times, supplier performance, and customer responsiveness. Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to improve supply chain reliability and efficiency. Lead, coach, and develop the Supply Chain and Customer Service teams. Establish clear objectives, priorities, and accountability for team performance. Collaborate effectively with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Program Management, and other functions. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
