Tyson Foods IncorporatedJob Details: Summary: The SS&P Manager is a key member of the Foodservice Prepared team, supporting the K–12 and Distribution channels. This role handles day-to-day execution and support, and helps deliver against annual financial and volume targets for Tyson Foodservice Prepared categories. The Manager works alongside the Senior Managers who set growth strategy 12+ months out, and turns that strategy into reliable results for customers and the field. This position is a critical link between field sales, supply chain, demand planning, and business unit teams. The Manager is the go-to resource for customer and field questions that need more than the tools and information on hand, and turns insights into actions that improve execution in market. The role emphasizes performance analytics, distribution effectiveness, and channel-specific dynamics, including distributor network performance. The SS&P Manager works in a highly cross-functional environment and plays a central role in aligning strategy with execution, so the sales organization can win with customers and operators. The ideal candidate shows strong ownership, analytical capability, and a proactive mindset, and can quickly synthesize information into clear recommendations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performance & Insights: Analyze category and product performance. Deliver actionable insights that identify growth opportunities and risks. Strategy & Planning: Support development and execution of K–12 and Distribution channel strategies aligned to business objectives. Sales Support: Partner with field sales to translate strategy into clear priorities, tools, and actions that drive in-market execution. Customer Resolution: Serve as the go-to resource for customer and field questions and issues that go beyond available tools and resources, driving each to resolution. Distribution & Execution: Monitor distributor performance, product distribution, and operator penetration. Identify and close execution gaps. Demand & Readiness: Manage day-to-day demand, forecast, inventory, and CID/load-in readiness, using Customer Insights data. Forecasting & S&OP: Provide input to demand forecasts and actively participate in S&OP to align on trends, risks, and opportunities. Promotions: Develop short-term promotional growth opportunities, including Truck Load, and support promo execution. Product Impact Management: Monitor product impacts (fill rate, capacity, SKU) and troubleshoot the resulting customer service issues. Recommend support solutions for customers, align get-well dates with the business unit, and communicate them to the field. Business Enablement & Communications: Develop and maintain customer- and channel-facing materials (brand material, sell sheets, attribute file) and field communications that support sales execution across K–12 and Distribution. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the key liaison across sales, supply chain, demand planning, and business teams to ensure alignment and results. Request Management: Manage incoming field and customer requests. Model behaviors that support Tyson Foods' behaviors and leadership principles. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree required Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in customer trade marketing, sales, marketing, sales analytics, revenue management or category management. Demonstrated financial acumen, with joint growth planning experience a plus Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence cross-functional team members Communication Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills; Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
