Qualifications - Degree or diploma in Purchasing or Materials Management related field preferred - PMAC (Purchasing Management Association of Canada) certification an asset - Minimum three (3) years management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting - Technical proficiency and understanding of purchasing, logistics and supply management processes - Provides leadership which is responsive to changing situations and needs of staff and hospital departments - Seeks out new opportunities to improve quality and productivity - Experienced user of technology including MS Office, Materials Management Systems (MMS), and finance and procurement systems (MediSolutions) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders - Strong customer service orientation, sensitive to client issues and understanding of importance of diplomacy and confidentiality - Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize recruitment needs and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - High attention to detail to ensure compliance with recruitment policies and thorough candidate screening - Class G drivers license, access to a reliable vehicle, and ability to travel to attend off site hospital locations as required and recruitment event
