Manager of Operations and Installations

About ROF Reimagine Office Furnishings is a Tampa-based commercial furniture company that remanufactures, warehouses, delivers, and installs office furniture for clients across the region. We’re a growing team that takes pride in quality work, on-time installs, and delighting our customers. About the Role We’re looking for an experienced operations leader to run our manufacturing, warehouse, and installation operations. You’ll supervise a team of Leads across each functional area and make sure people, materials, vehicles, and schedules come together so every order is built right, shipped on time, and installed well. This role is based at our Tampa facility with a strong, daily presence on the warehouse and manufacturing floor. You’ll visit job sites as needed, but your Installation Leads run the work in the field. What You’ll Do Supervise the Leads for warehouse, receiving and shipping, installation, and our manufacturing work centers: Assembly, Paint, Fabric, and Upholstery Set daily production and installation priorities and adjust labor, equipment, and resources to keep work flowing and deadlines met Oversee the flow of product from receiving through production, staging, shipping, and installation Oversee installation and subcontractor scheduling with your Installation Leads, review drawings and job paperwork, and keep customers and sales informed Evaluate subcontractors and vendors, negotiate rates, and oversee the ROF vehicle fleet Track key measures such as productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and on-time installation, and fix recurring problems at the root Coach, develop, and hold your Leads and their teams accountable, and partner with HR on hiring, training, and performance Keep the facility safe, organized, and efficient, and keep improving processes as the company grows What You Bring 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse operations, or commercial furniture installation 3+ years of commercial furniture installation experience (or equivalent field/project experience) 3+ years of management experience, including supervising team leads and hourly employees Experience scheduling installation crews or subcontractors and reading drawings and job paperwork Strong understanding of inventory control, material flow, and warehouse organization Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfort with computers and business systems for scheduling, inventory, and reporting High school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license Nice to Have Experience in furniture manufacturing, upholstery, woodworking, or similar production Experience with Lean, 5S, SOPs, or operational KPIs Fleet management or warehouse management system experience Forklift experience Degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Business, or a related field Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Experience: Office furniture installation : 3 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Tampa, FL 33605 (Required) Work Location: In person
