JOB SUMMARY: The Manager of Fleet Services is a hands-on leader responsible for the day-to-day operational support of customers while providing leadership and direction to Fleet Services personnel. This position works directly with customers and service providers to ensure fleet agreements and customer commitments are understood and successfully executed. The Manager maintains a thorough working knowledge of customer agreements, actively assists in resolving customer and service-provider issues, and provides guidance on operational challenges. This role also ensures the Fleet Account team has the direction, information, resources, and support necessary to effectively manage customer relationships and deliver a high level of service. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Work directly with Guardian Fleet customers to understand their needs, respond to requests, resolve issues and ensure customer commitments are being met. Maintain a strong working knowledge of customer fleet agreements, service requirements and program expectations. Work directly with service providers and MH Equipment operations to address service performance, responsiveness and other operational issues. Lead, support and develop Fleet Account personnel while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day work of supporting customers. Serve as a problem-solving and escalation resource for more complex customer and operational issues, coordinating the appropriate resources to drive resolution. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts and participate in customer meetings and business reviews. Support the resolution of issues involving telemetry, fleet technology, reporting availability and other Guardian Fleet solutions. Ensure Fleet Account personnel have access to the information, systems and resources necessary to effectively manage their accounts. Work with Fleet Performance Analysis resources to understand key fleet information and translate findings into appropriate customer and operational actions. Identify opportunities to improve processes, service delivery and the overall Guardian Fleet customer experience. Support new customer implementations and significant changes to existing fleet programs. Work closely with the Director of Fleet Operations on customer needs, operational priorities and continuous improvement. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Strong operational, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Experience in material handling, fleet management, equipment service, industrial equipment, or a related service industry is preferred. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and service providers. Hands-on leadership style with the ability and willingness to work directly alongside the team. Ability to understand customer agreements, service expectations, and contractual requirements and translate them into effective operational execution. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop employees while promoting accountability and high performance.
