Manager, National Procurement
FirstService ResidentialDescription Purchase Power is a new program offered to FirstService Residential clients that provides access to competitively sourced products and services through a network of pre-negotiated supplier agreements with preferred vendors. By leveraging our collective purchasing power and national vendor relationships, Purchasing Power helps clients achieve cost savings, operational efficiencies, and enhanced service quality. This role serves as the primary liaison between the organization, partner vendors and participating suppliers, driving program adoption, supplier performance, and measurable value across our communities and markets. A considerable portion of the role will include collaborating with ProVista, the leading GPO (group purchasing organization) in the US, and one of our largest partners within the Purchasing Power program. Adoption, Education & Market Engagement Develop launch and adoption plans with market leaders, managers, communications and supplier partners. Create practical education, supplier introductions, webinars, field resources and success stories that make the program understandable and easy to use. Gather feedback from managers and leaders, identify participation barriers and improve the experience based on field needs. Client Value & Supplier Accountability Work with suppliers to develop benefits such as preferred pricing, stronger service commitments, dedicated support, technical guidance, training and value-added programs. Define how savings and service value will be documented and communicated, while avoiding unsupported claims or one-size-fits-all promises. Monitor supplier responsiveness and recurring service concerns, coordinate appropriate escalations and use performance findings to guide future program decisions.
