Job Summary The Manager, Logistics & Theatre Services oversees contracted service programs and non-direct procurement categories that support theatre operations and the Theatre Support Center. This role manages service partner performance, category strategies, contracts, budgets, and operational improvements while partnering with Facilities, Operations, and Food and Beverage teams to deliver efficient, cost-effective services and support procurement and vendor management systems. This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation. What you will be doing: Manage contracted service categories, including janitorial, landscaping, snow removal, grease trap maintenance, pest control, carpet cleaning, printer and toner services, company travel, and theatre openings and closings. Ensure service partners meet contract requirements, defined scopes of work, service standards, and theatre operating needs. Monitor service delivery, address performance concerns, and implement solutions that reduce recurring issues and operational disruptions. Adjust service levels based on theatre volume, business needs, operating priorities, and budget requirements. Manage complex service categories in accordance with theatre procedures and supplier agreements. Support theatres and the Theatre Support Center by resolving and escalating service partner inquiries, work orders, and service issues. Coach team members and theatre associates to ensure inquiries receive clear, accurate, and timely responses. Serve as the subject matter expert for non-direct procurement processes and related systems. Provide support for Cinema Solutions, Corrigo, and Oracle Cloud by researching agreements, scopes of work, work orders, and other information needed to resolve inquiries and support business initiatives. Develop and implement category strategies that align supplier services with operational and financial priorities. Participate in contract negotiations and support the development, review, and administration of supplier agreements. Develop financial models and conduct spend analysis to support negotiations, category decisions, and cost-saving opportunities. Monitor supplier performance, category results, contract compliance, and operational risks. Partner with Facilities, Operations, Food and Beverage, and other stakeholders to improve service delivery and achieve business goals. Implement scope-of-work changes while maintaining cost-effective service and reducing the risk of fines, service failures, and contract issues. Support the annual budgeting process for assigned service categories and monitor spending against established plans. Lead projects and process improvements from planning through implementation. Support cross-training to strengthen team knowledge, maintain coverage, and provide consistent support to internal and external partners. Create value for AMC and its Facility partners using data. What we need from you: 5+ years of experience in facilities services, logistics, procurement, supplier management, or a related field. Knowledge of theatre operations, service delivery, procurement processes, and supplier agreements. Knowledge managing contracts, budgets, and supplier performance. Ability to analyze financial and operational information and make sound business decisions. Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to urgent service needs. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build productive relationships with service partners and stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products What we also value (preferred): Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
