Role Summary:

The Indirect Procurement Manager will lead and support strategic sourcing and supplier management activities across key indirect spend categories for KDC/one. This role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that deliver cost savings, improve supplier performance, reduce risk, and support operational continuity across the business. The successful candidate will partner closely with internal stakeholders, Finance, Legal, Operations, HR, IT, Facilities, and other functions to ensure procurement decisions align with business needs, compliance requirements, and long-term value creation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect categories such as professional services, temporary labor, HR services, facilities, MRO, logistics, IT, Real Estate, CAPEX, utilities and other business support services.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing events, including market research, stakeholder requirement gathering, RFx development, supplier evaluation, negotiations, award recommendations, and implementation planning.
  • Utilize spend analytics and benchmarking to identify new cost reduction opportunities and drive sourcing prioritization.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing models, service levels, statements of work, master service agreements, and contract renewals in partnership with Legal and business stakeholders.
  • Develop should-cost models, total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses, and sourcing playbooks to guide decision making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business priorities and ensure procurement strategies support operational objectives.
  • Drive measurable value through cost savings, supplier consolidation, demand management, improved service levels, and working capital opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Finance to validate savings and support reporting of procurement value creation.
  • Support cross-functional projects, site-level initiatives, and business transformation activities where indirect procurement expertise is required.
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance to improve Procure-to-Pay (P2P) efficiency and spend visibility.
  • Promote procurement best practices, standardization, transparency, and continuous improvement across indirect spend management.
  • Consolidate and build spend analytics across multiple sites and ERP platforms to uncover sourcing opportunities, drive cost optimization, improve spend visibility, and enable data-driven decision-making.

 

Required Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supply chain, or a related function, with demonstrated experience in indirect spend categories.
  • Strong experience leading competitive sourcing processes, supplier negotiations, and contract discussions.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver cost savings, improve supplier performance, and manage complex stakeholder requirements.
  • Strong understanding of contract management and supplier risk management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels.
  • Experience analyzing spend data, developing business cases, and presenting recommendations to leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Education requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations, or a related field required.
  • Professional certification such as CPSM, CPM, CSCP, or equivalent procurement certification is preferred.
