Manager, Football Operations

JOB SUMMARY: Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Football Operations involved heavily in the overall operations of the business. Will implement the systems, workflows, and resources that support the company’s core business functions. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Football Event Operations Responsible for leading execution and contributing toward the overarching strategy of all football events Support the football event operations team to help set the strategy and execute best-in-class experiences for participants and partners Support all pre-event logistics including facility agreements, online registration, staffing plans, travel plans, equipment coordination, vendor procurement, and run-of-show documentation Support on-site event operations from setup through teardown, serving as a primary point of contact for staff, contractors, coaches, and venue personnel Develop and maintain event budgets, tracking expenditures in real time and reconciling actuals against targets post-event Build and maintain relationships with facility partners, local vendors, and event contractors to ensure reliable, high-quality execution across all markets Conduct post-event operational reviews, capturing key learnings and implementing improvements to continuously raise the standard of Code Eleven football events Assist with compliance, waivers, and athlete documentation Ability to coordinate and work with high school athletes, parents, coaches, media, event staff, vendors, and partners Business Unit Growth Work with the management team and execute a plan to build the football business through new and existing streams of revenue, including premium events, new event platforms, sponsorships and other strategic partnership opportunities. Support new and existing partners to create collaboration opportunities with the goal of driving incremental revenue Utilize football knowledge and network of contacts to gather information across platforms Support internal ideation process as it pertains to new business development initiatives Account Servicing Work directly with Partnerships Manager and other key account managers to ensure the team is exceeding expectations with a focus on client satisfaction, contract renewals and up-sell opportunities. Player Personnel Management of athlete database and rosters Professional Development & Culture Embody and reinforce a high standard of professionalism, creativity, and accountability in day-to-day interactions with staff, vendors, and clients Support onboarding of new hires and interns, ensuring they are set up for success Contribute to a team culture of accountability, organization, and a genuine commitment to excellent execution Communication/Teamwork - Ability to collaborate with others and effectively communicate with team members DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s, a plus) or equivalent combination of education and work experience 2+ years of relevant experience within the football space from youth to collegiate to the professional ranks Working knowledge of youth sports safeguarding, risk management, and event compliance requirements Strong knowledge of the football landscape, including key leagues, event operators, governing bodies, and competitors A demonstrated personal network of coaches, organizers, and leaders within the football and flag football industry Knowledge of and strong interest in event operations, scouting & player development Detailed knowledge of football technology is a plus Ability to work on multiple projects at one time Self-motivated mindset, strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Proficient client and participant facing communication skil…
