Summary: The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the manufacturing floor to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met. This role provides hands-on leadership to production teams, coordinates with maintenance, quality, and logistics departments, and ensures efficient workflow and resource utilization. The Floor Manager is also accountable for enforcing workplace policies, resolving operational issues in real-time, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Success in this role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Responsibilities: Staff supervision Train staff to perform allocated roles Inventory Management Assist Project Managers with queries and/or requests Manage floor hours through Paycom for full staff Collaborate with Scheduler to ensure proper floor mix Manage 5 to 6 Supervisors Daily Lead the Production Control Team to make sure correct job orders are released to the floor. Requirements: High school degree or equivalent GED Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a managerial position Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills Microsoft Excel Skills Highly organized Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 25-50 Ibs at a time. Regularly perform repetitive tasks Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility environment. Able to sit or stand for 10+ hours a day.
