What you’ll do:
Vendor and Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with outsourced vendors, manage parts inventories, and oversee local vendor selection and auditing to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all fleet operations comply with company policies and regulatory requirements and identify and mitigate potential risks to maintain operational integrity.
Team Leadership and Development: Plan, apportion, and supervise the work of a large team, including contracted headcount and external vendors; interview, select, train, coach, and assess performance, with authority over hiring and firing decisions.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), audit work completion, oversee the maintenance and repair of 10k+ assets, and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Cost Control and Budget Management: Manage the fleet operations budget, monitor expenditures, make decisions on repair methods, and identify cost-saving opportunities to ensure financial alignment and operational efficiency.
What you’ll bring:
As a Manager-Fleet Field Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance and repair of company-owned vehicles and wheel work equipment, and interact with internal and external mechanics, including contractors, to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
Oversee the daily operations of their team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role will focus on immediate team management, task delegation, and the resolution of day-to-day issues. Typically, leading occupational staff within the organization. Influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action and promotional activity for subordinates.

Our Manager-Fleet Field Operations earns between $77,800 - $116,800 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
