POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager, Procurement, will assist coordinating the activities of Material Managers and related clinical staff involved in sourcing and purchasing Med/Surg supplies, implants, pharmaceuticals, and facility services. Fluency in Regent computer system applications with regard to ordering supplies, tracking surgical procedure case costing, and maintaining inventory systems. Responsible for training Material Managers on the IOS/ENVI inventory platform. Provide support with the HST/SIS system application. Assist supply chain efforts in setting up a new facility or transitioning an existing facility to a Regent facility. The Manager, Procurement will report to the Sr. Director, Supply Chain.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with employees, stakeholders, and suppliers to provide primary support and maintain e-Procurement platforms.
- Direct and coordinate activities of purchasing systems utilized by surgery centers Regent is partnered with
- Answer in-bound support requests for e-Procurement.
- Maintain data within purchasing platforms and other programs.
- Complete daily maintenance on items and vendor master within e-Procurement systems.
- Actively work on problem resolutions by using appropriate tools or escalating to appropriate employee.
- Conduct ad-hoc and scheduled end-user training classes.
- Conduct in-person training when necessary.
- Provide ad-hoc and scheduled system application training and support to end users virtually. These systems include, but not limited to, IOS/ENVI, HST, and Intacct.
- Lead and roll-out Account Payable Module training.
- Assist with reporting to include, but not limited to, inventory reporting, purchasing history, case costing, various data information.
- Assist Materials Management in various projects.
- Develop, maintain and distribute documentation necessary for purchasing systems.
- Attend and participate in leading periodic materials manager calls.
- Assist setting up and enrolling centers with GPO partners.
- Assist with cost savings initiatives.
- Evaluate costs of supplies and monitor prices in conjunction with Material Managers, Administrators, and Directors of Nursing.
- Recognize and define problems and solve in a timely manner.
- Contribute to goals and objectives of supply chain initiatives.
- Possess the ability to work independently.
- Support facility Material Managers in maintaining a charge system that meets the needs of surgical services.
- Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.
- Interact with all of the above in a considerate, helpful, and courteous manner as observed by Administrator, Clinical Director, and peers.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in materials management / purchasing/e-procurement
- Significant computer experience to manage multiple computer systems proficiently
- Envi experience
Preferred:
- ASC experience
- Operating room knowledge and experience
