Responsibilities Lead daily café operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to food safety standards Train new and existing team members on coffee preparation, food handling, POS systems (including Aloha POS and Micros POS), and customer service techniques Manage cash handling procedures accurately using POS systems and perform basic retail math for transactions Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and delivering a memorable experience Oversee food preparation and serving processes, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup and plate Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café environment in compliance with food safety regulations Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and order placement as needed Skills Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee-making skills and familiarity with café operations Prior experience in food service or the food industry with knowledge of serving standards Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transactions and reporting Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math calculations related to sales, cash handling, and retail math Effective training abilities to mentor team members on coffee prep, food safety, and service standards This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy working with people, and are eager to grow their skills within the food industry.
