Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager to lead our retail team and ensure the smooth operation of our store. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily store functions, motivate staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. As a Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, supervising team members, and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment. Your leadership will be vital in fostering a positive team culture and achieving operational excellence. Duties Lead and supervise retail staff, including hiring, training, and developing team members to maximize their potential. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to optimize sales performance. Implement effective sales management techniques to meet or exceed sales targets while ensuring excellent customer service. Conduct employee orientation sessions, onboarding processes, and ongoing training to maintain high standards of performance. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Coordinate purchasing activities, manage payroll processing, bookkeeping, and maintain accurate financial records. Requirements Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of retail sales operations, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging with a broad customer base. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development. Basic math skills for cash register operations, inventory calculations, and budgeting tasks. Experience with retail store product knowledge, merchandising, stocking procedures, and operational management. Ability to manage time efficiently while overseeing shift management and organizational tasks. Strong leadership qualities with supervisory experience in retail sales teams or assistant manager roles preferred.
