Management Trainee

IEDS Logistics, headquartered in Spokane, WA, is the Pacific Northwest’s premier logistics company in distribution, warehousing, and transportation services. We are now hiring Management Trainees in Spokane, Washington. Who are we? IEDS Logistics is a B2B supply chain services operator. We manage over 1,000,000 square feet of distribution center space in the western U.S. for manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors. We provide local transportation common carriage, freight management and national dedicated fleet services for customers across the U.S. What do we do? Logistics is the power that enables domestic and international commerce. IEDS Logistics provides freight movements throughout the U.S. and around the world. From raw materials shipped to manufacturing or finished goods heading to the market, on truck, ship, or rail, we participate inside that supply chain insuring timely, accurate and reliable product distribution. What is professional life like for a Management Trainee at IEDS? Management Trainees start their successful careers with 6 weeks of training and participating in the apprenticeship program, learning key aspects of the job in different divisions. Soon after, you will fulfill an important role learning several facets of the logistics business. The trainee program has a 2-year timeframe. After this time, we want to see you promoted into leadership positions where you will take charge, manage a team, and participate in different aspects of the logistics industry. Qualifications, is this you? Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree: Business Administration or Engineering Self-starter with good planning/organizing skills Team player Good computer skillsets Commitment to Service Excellence Desire for a career in management and marketing Mechanically oriented and past equipment operating experience, a plus Ability to travel Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening All successful candidates will be subject to a background screen prior to hiring.
