Duties Performs studies independently or as a member of a group with higher graded analysts/specialists, dealing with interrelated functions and recommends changes where appropriate. Conducts review and analysis studies pertaining to the mission, policies, operations and functions to evaluate and improve efficiency. Prepares action plans, milestones, summarizes study results, and prepares briefings as required including in process reviews and fact sheets as well as completed study packages. Participates in meetings, conferences and briefings to exchange viewpoints. Prepares reports with appropriate statistical tables and graphs and necessary visual aids, and initiates correspondence and makes oral presentations. Qualifications To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-09 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Performs review and analysis studies to evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of a wide variety of programs and operations. Identifies problem areas requiring action or study, conducts studies and recommends action. Serves as the SharePoint site Administrator and Content Manager for the DLA Distribution Center. Education Substitution: Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
