• Use ladder logic, PLC programming concepts, and electrical wiring practices to support troubleshooting and minor control adjustments.
• Perform welding and basic fabrication tasks when needed to support maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with operations and other departments to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement of equipment performance.
Essential Skills
• At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience, which may include qualifying job experience, related military experience, and/or related education.
• Strong mechanical power-transmission troubleshooting skills, including motors, gearboxes, pulleys, and bearings.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills in an industrial environment, including three-phase systems and motor controls.
• Working knowledge of PLCs and control systems, including PLC troubleshooting and basic controls diagnosis.
• Experience maintaining or troubleshooting conveyors and material-handling systems in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, mechanical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to troubleshoot motors and motor-control circuits, including power and control circuits.
• Experience using a digital multimeter
