Job Title: Maintenance Technician SAP Job Function: Maintenance Job Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the effective operation, repair and changeovers of production equipment. The role also works with others to achieve factory business objectives of safety, equipment reliability, productivity, customer service, quality, cost and environmental protection. The primary accountabilities of the role include safety compliance, attaining high equipment reliability and uptime, equipment maintenance procedures, data collection, housekeeping, problem solving and continuous improvement as part of a work team. The primary accountabilities of the role include troubleshoot, repair, and preventative maintenance as required to ensure equipment reliability; assist with root cause analysis to identify reasons for failures and breakdowns; review electrical and pneumatic schematics during troubleshooting, repair and project work; and will work closely with the operators to support production and transfer skills to Operation Technicians. Sign-On bonus / Internal Referral Program After 90 days, $500 Dollars; After 180 days, $500 Dollars; Principal Duties and Responsibilities % Task 15 Troubleshoots, repair and preventive maintenance (PM) as required to ensure equipment reliability. 15 Complete work orders as scheduled and documented in SAP in a timely manner. 10 Reviews equipment instructions, blueprints, electrical, and pneumatic schematics to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem, and possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts, or re-engineering of parts or subassemblies. 10 Assists Operations and Engineering teams with root cause analysis to identify reasons for equipment failures and breakdowns. 5 Records test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and makes recommendations for changes in product or test method. 5 Fabricates machine parts as needed. 5 Works with teams and focus resources, planner scheduler and assures correct PM's are in SAP. 5 Helps maintain spare parts inventory and restocking inventory for the plant as needed. 5 Audits work order completion and effectiveness. 5 Trains and assists in the changeovers of automated equipment. 5 Accurately and fully completes all regulatory and compliance related documentation and procedures. 5 Participates in structured group or team activities related to line/area performance improvement e.g. autonomous maintenance (AM), housekeeping, problem solving etc. 5 Works with operators to support production and transfer skills to Operation technicians. 5 Understand and comply with Hill’s policies, safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety.
